i am 99.999999999% it is not since it doesnt use steam api to detect if you own the original.

Yes this is safe.
So why when I open it I get some letters that say you have been hacked? The good thing is that I had the file folder right there and I was able to delete it in time.
Your computer probably says that it doesn't recognize the file and that you may be at risk but I have downloaded a LOT of itch.io games and I have never gotten hacked. It just means that your computer doesn't recognize that type of file. But if it ACTUALLY says in big, bold letters, "YOU'VE BEEN HACKED." Then yes I'd suggest deleting it. Overall, you could download the itch.io app to download it instead. the app doesn't make you extract any files or anything, you just click install and it does all the work for you! Trust me, if this game was a virus it would've been taken down a LONG TIME AGO! Hoped this helped! :)

so something weird happened. i had bonnie in the dining room, freddy on stage but i had lost chica, as i was looking at bonnie i put down my camera but i got the bonnie jumpscare animation even though he was in the dining room is this a bug?

super scary, i've never played a horror game before but now i know why people play them, lots of fun. when i tried opening it windows didnt let me but you just have to click more info then press run anyway.
